StoneX Group Inc. said on Oct. 1, 2026 that it has launched a Singapore FX booking centre and SG1 connectivity, widening its foreign exchange capabilities in Asia-Pacific. The move gives its StoneX FX division local pricing and execution from Singapore.

StoneX FX is the firm’s institutional foreign exchange division, offering over-the-counter trading solutions for institutional and corporate hedging. The company said the Singapore setup is intended to improve response times, strengthen regional expertise and align client support with Asia-Pacific market hours.

The new booking centre is designed to support a range of trading and hedging needs, from low-touch institutional flows to corporate treasury operations. StoneX said the arrangement brings pricing, support and decision-making closer to clients in Asia and is aimed at improving execution quality and operational efficiency.

The launch also strengthens StoneX FX’s deliverable FX offering in Asia. The company said it should help clients manage settlement timelines, regional currency workflows and intraday liquidity requirements, while reducing reliance on overnight handovers for faster execution adjustments, improved cash flow management and more precise risk controls.

At the same time, StoneX FX expanded its APAC currency coverage by adding seven new CNH pairs and increasing liquidity across JPY, SGD, HKD, KRW, TWD, INR, IDR, PHP, THB and AED.

Gerard Melia, global head of FX sales at StoneX, said: “The launch of our Singapore booking center is a meaningful step in strengthening our FX offering in Asia-Pacific. By aligning pricing and execution with regional market hours, we are able to deliver faster, more relevant support and help our clients navigate increasingly dynamic FX markets with greater precision.”

Greg Kallinikos, CEO of APAC at StoneX, said: “Singapore is a key global FX hub, and establishing SG1 connectivity for our new, local booking center allows us to bring our liquidity, technology, and expertise closer to clients in the region. This enhances not only execution quality, but also the overall client experience across trading, hedging, and settlement.”
