Published bylines and responsibility

Why there are no invented people
The About page lists author credits from published Hub articles as supplied. traderpublic does not add local invented biographies, credentials or awards. A published credit is not a claim about employment or qualifications.
How a story reaches this page
Reported content is delivered to the site from an editorial system over an authenticated connection. Nothing is published by an anonymous form, and nothing is published because a firm asked for it.
Before a piece is delivered, its factual claims are expected to be traceable to a primary source under the sourcing rules in the editorial policy. After delivery, the newsroom remains responsible for it: corrections are applied to the live page, and a piece that cannot be defended from sources is withdrawn rather than left up.
Automated assistance may be used in drafting, translating and formatting, under the narrow limits set out in the editorial policy. It never originates a fact and it is never an author.
- Attribution: the author credit supplied with the published article, or the newsroom when none is supplied.
- Sourcing: primary documents and registers, or an explicit unverified label.
- Corrections: made on the page, dated, and never silent when meaning changes.
- Independence: no commercial party sees or influences a page before publication.
What the newsroom is accountable for
Broker rankings follow the desk scores explained on How We Rate Brokers. A record without a published score remains unranked; an absent record is not a negative finding about a firm.
Reaching the newsroom
Corrections, complaints, permission requests and questions about how something here was sourced all go to the editorial address, which reaches the people responsible for the site. The contact page lists every route, including the separate address used for data-protection questions.
