Pulse Seismic said it generated about $17.3 million in seismic data licensing revenue since July 1, 2026, and that its third-quarter 2026 revenue rose more than 400% from the same period a year earlier. The Calgary-based company said on September 30 that expected revenue for the nine months ended September 30, 2026 is about $22.8 million.

For traders and newer investors watching the company, the key point is that the latest sales update is preliminary. Pulse said the selected financial information for the third quarter has not been audited or reviewed by its auditors, the auditors have not performed any procedures on it, and the figures may still change as the company finalizes its results.

The company said it expects to issue and file its financial results for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2026 on SEDAR+ after markets close on October 21, 2026, and will make them available on its website at the same time.

In a statement, President and CEO Pamela Wicks said: “These strong third quarter sales results demonstrate the continued value and strategic importance of our extensive seismic data library to our clients.” She also said the company remains confident in its competitive position and the long-term value of its asset base, and thanked the Pulse team.

Pulse said the timing of new seismic data licensing is affected by a variety of factors tied to industry activity and is subject to significant fluctuations. The company also said it is a market leader in the acquisition, marketing and licensing of 2D and 3D seismic data to the western Canadian energy sector.
