Vaxcyte said on Oct. 4 that it will host a webcast and conference call the next day, Oct. 5, at 8:00 a.m. ET / 5:00 a.m. PT to present topline data from OPUS-1, its adult pivotal Phase 3 trial of VAX-31.

VAX-31 is the company’s 31-valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine candidate, or PCV, and Vaxcyte said it is being evaluated for its safety, tolerability and immunogenicity. The company said the candidate is designed to help prevent invasive pneumococcal disease, or IPD, and pneumococcal pneumonia.

For retail traders following biotech names, the immediate item here is the timing of the data release rather than any forecast about what it will show. Vaxcyte said people can join by phone at 800-445-7795 in the US or 785-424-1699 internationally, using conference ID PCVX1005.

The company also said a live webcast will be available on the investor relations page of its website at www.vaxcyte.com, and that the event will remain archived there for at least 30 days after the live webcast.
