Fredonia Mining Inc. said on Wednesday it filed a technical report supporting the disclosure of results from a preliminary economic assessment on its wholly owned El Dorado Monserrat gold and silver project in Santa Cruz province, Argentina. The company said the assessment results were disclosed in a news release on August 31, 2026.
The report is titled “NI 43-101 Technical Report - Preliminary Economic Assessment, El Dorado - Monserrat Gold-Silver Project” and carries an effective date of August 17, 2026. Fredonia said it was prepared by Sergio Alvarado Casas, Ricardo Muñoz González and Carlos Puga Gómez, who are each described as qualified persons under Canadian National Instrument 43-101.
For investors watching the name, the filing matters because it is the supporting technical document behind the earlier assessment disclosure rather than a fresh project update. Fredonia said Alvarado Casas reviewed and approved the scientific and technical information in the release and that he is the principal author of the report and an independent consultant to the company through Geoinvest Limitada.
Fredonia said it holds gold and silver licence areas totalling about 64,000 hectares in Santa Cruz, including the EDM project at about 33,500 hectares, the El Águila project at about 9,100 hectares and the Hornia project at about 21,500 hectares. It said EDM is close to AngloGold Ashanti’s Cerro Vanguardia mine, which it said produced about 180,000 ounces of gold in the 12 months ended June 30, 2026.
The company added that information on Cerro Vanguardia came from AngloGold Ashanti public disclosure and had not been independently verified by Fredonia’s qualified person. It also said that information about the mine is not necessarily indicative of mineralization, mineral resources, mineral reserves or the economic potential of the EDM project.
