Axogen said on Oct. 1, 2026 that it has completed its previously announced acquisition of BioCircuit Technologies, bringing NerveTape into its portfolio. The company said the device is the first FDA-cleared sutureless option for peripheral nerve repair.

Michael Dale, Axogen’s president and chief executive, said the deal is important for the company and for the surgeons and patients it serves. He said NerveTape represents “a new standard of care” and described it as “simpler, faster, and more effective than microsuturing.”

Axogen said it expects BioCircuit to contribute about $6 million to fourth-quarter 2026 revenue and about $34 million to 2027 revenue. The company said that contribution was not included in its most recently issued full-year 2026 guidance of at least 24% revenue growth.

Axogen also said it continues to expect gross margin of at least 73% and to be free cash positive for full-year 2026.

BioCircuit, based in Atlanta, develops medical devices for peripheral nerve repair and neuromodulation. The company said its first commercial product, NerveTape, is the first FDA-cleared sutureless device for repairing transected nerves.
