Vaxcyte said it will host a webcast and conference call on Oct. 5, 2026 at 8:00 a.m. ET / 5:00 a.m. PT to present topline data from OPUS-1, its adult pivotal Phase 3 trial of VAX-31.
For traders and newer investors following biotech names, the immediate point is that the company is setting a public update on a late-stage trial, not announcing results in the text itself. Vaxcyte said the trial is evaluating the safety, tolerability and immunogenicity of VAX-31, its 31-valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine candidate.
The company said VAX-31 is designed to prevent invasive pneumococcal disease and pneumococcal pneumonia. It also said the candidate is being evaluated in an OPUS Phase 3 adult clinical program and in a Phase 2 infant clinical program.
Anyone wanting to listen can dial 800-445-7795 in the US or 785-424-1699 internationally and use conference ID PCVX1005. A live webcast will also be available on Vaxcyte’s investor relations page, and the recording will remain archived for at least 30 days after the live event.
Vaxcyte describes itself as a vaccine innovation company and says its pipeline also includes VAX-24, VAX-XL, VAX-A1 and VAX-GI. The company said VAX-A1 is being evaluated in a Phase 1 adult study, while VAX-GI is designed to prevent Shigella.
