Axogen said on 1 October 2026 that it has completed its previously announced acquisition of BioCircuit Technologies, adding NerveTape, which BioCircuit says is the first FDA-cleared sutureless device for repairing transected nerves.
For traders and newer investors following medical-device names, the immediate point is the revenue contribution Axogen attached to the deal. The company expects BioCircuit to contribute about $6 million to fourth-quarter 2026 revenue and about $34 million to 2027 revenue, and said that contribution was not included in its most recently issued full-year 2026 guidance.
Axogen said it still expects gross margin to be at least 73% and to be free cash positive for full-year 2026. It also said the acquisition fits with its direct sales organisation and hospital contracting capabilities.
BioCircuit is based in Atlanta, Georgia, and develops and commercialises medical devices for peripheral nerve repair and neuromodulation. Axogen said BioCircuit has been supported by small business funding from the National Institutes of Health and by private investment from Alsora Capital, GRA Venture Fund, Michael Masters of Masters Capital Management and other investors.
