Copa Holdings said on 8 October 2026 that its preliminary passenger traffic statistics for September showed higher capacity, stronger traffic and a firmer load factor than a year earlier.
The company reported available seat miles, or ASM, of 3,041.0 million for the month, compared with 2,628.2 million in September 2025. Revenue passenger miles, or RPM, came in at 2,674.4 million, up from 2,283.1 million a year earlier.
That left the system load factor at 87.9% in September 2026, against 86.9% in the same month of 2025. The company said the increase amounted to 1.1 percentage points.
For someone following airline activity through a retail account, the only figures here are the monthly operating totals Copa chose to publish: how much seating capacity it flew, how much passenger traffic it carried, and how fully that capacity was used.
Copa Holdings described itself as a Latin American provider of passenger and cargo services, with operating subsidiaries serving countries in North, Central and South America and the Caribbean.
