Gran Tierra के Azerbaijan समझौते को मिली मंजूरी

Gran Tierra Energy Inc. ने कहा है कि Azerbaijan की Parliament, Milli Majlis, ने उसके onshore Guba-Khazaryani region के exploration, development and production sharing agreement (EDPSA) को ratify कर दिया है। यह वही agreement है जिसे कंपनी ने 18 February 2026 को State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan के साथ signed किया था।

रिटेल traders के लिए यह खबर इसलिए महत्वपूर्ण है क्योंकि कंपनी का Azerbaijan exposure अब एक ratified agreement पर आधारित है, जबकि उसके operations में यह country already शामिल थी। Gran Tierra ने कहा कि वह इस onshore contract area में operator है और उसका 65% working interest है।

कंपनी के president और chief executive officer Gary Guidry ने ratification process में मदद के लिए State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan government, उसकी agencies और Milli Majlis को धन्यवाद दिया।

Gran Tierra ने यह भी बताया कि उसने Azerbaijan में अपना airborne digital full tensor gradiometry, यानी dFTG survey, पूरा कर लिया है। कंपनी के अनुसार, उसने 102 lines उड़ाईं, 5,775-line kilometers कवर किए और कुल 4,815 square kilometers का area covered किया।

कंपनी ने कहा कि dFTG information का उपयोग sedimentary basins और fault-related structures की geometry समझने में किया जाएगा, ताकि future seismic acquisition areas और exploration and appraisal drilling locations चुनने में मदद मिल सके।
