Algoma Steel ने Q3 2026 के लिए शिपमेंट और EBITDA गाइडेंस दिया

Algoma Steel Group Inc. ने 30 सितंबर 2026 को खत्म तिमाही के लिए गाइडेंस जारी किया है। कंपनी ने कहा कि कुल steel shipments लगभग 1,45,000 टन रह सकते हैं और Adjusted EBITDA CAD -10 million से CAD -20 million के बीच होने की उम्मीद है।

कंपनी के अनुसार इस Adjusted EBITDA guidance में लगभग CAD 50 million से CAD 55 million के expected capacity utilization adjustment का लाभ शामिल है। Algoma ने यह भी कहा कि सभी amounts, जब तक अलग से न बताया जाए, Canadian dollars में हैं।

मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी Rajat Marwah ने कहा कि Lake Superior Power पर replacement turbine सफलतापूर्वक installed कर दिया गया है और plant अब full power पर चल रहा है। उन्होंने Independent Electricity System Operator और Hydro One के support और responsiveness के लिए धन्यवाद दिया, क्योंकि कंपनी reliable power restore करने और operational continuity बनाए रखने की कोशिश कर रही थी।

Marwah के मुताबिक EAF Unit Two पर सभी electrical equipment की testing हो चुकी है और कंपनी को आने वाले दिनों में first heat की उम्मीद है, ताकि fourth quarter में Unit Two से production और shipments की ओर बढ़ा जा सके।

Chief Financial Officer Michael Moraca ने कहा कि LSP turbine outage ने EAF production को temporarily constrained किया और shipment volumes पर असर पड़ने की उम्मीद थी। उनके अनुसार third-quarter results में lower shipment volumes और a less favourable sales mix शामिल हैं।

Moraca ने यह भी कहा कि outage period का इस्तेमाल planned maintenance को accelerate करने और EAF Unit Two पर commissioning activities को आगे बढ़ाने में किया गया, जिससे future planned downtime कम करने में मदद मिलेगी।

Marwah ने आगे कहा कि power fully restored होने, planned outages के पीछे छूट जाने, second furnace के commercial operation के करीब होने और steel prices improving रहने के साथ कंपनी खुद को transformation के final phase में well-positioned मानती है।
